    I wouldn't need a coil compressor and stuff? Why do people need them to install coils onto shocks then? Now I confused myself.

    Nope.
    You have King coilovers, not Eibachs or OME. Easily rebuildable and easy to make changes to. The coilover is not held together with a top plate. In essence, the adjustment collar is the top plate. Move it all the way to the top and you take all the preload off the coil with wiggle room to pull the bottom plate out.

    Mind. Blown. Thank you. So I could basically swap the coils myself then if I move up to 700#. The only thing is I couldn't get around the res hose fitting. I tried using an Allen wrench cut down a little to move the hole a little past the fitting but it wouldn't budge. I had to take it to a shop.

    Haha yeah he does. You think locking it in the vice will work better? Does king have a vice clamp adapter sort of thing to hold it in place while I crank on it?

    My wife was giving me shit one day when I did my coil bucket gussets. She pointed out some craptastic weld and asked what happened there. I told her that was Toyota welds...not mine. She quickly ran inside and made me a steak dinner.
