Southern sun would be good but there's probably a more central place where we could meet that's not as far west

The parking is pretty bad there too

You guys are killing me with these big chain BBQ joints when we have SUCH good BBQ places to eat. Georgia Boys in Longmont is fantastic. Rubbin' Butts just opened their first restaurant in Milliken and what they've been able to do with a road-side cart is amazing. Can't want to see what they can do with a full restaurant. They've got great 'que and their creativity with side and desserts and what not is admirable. Nordy's and Serious Texas BBQ are both good too. Famous Dave's and Hooter's are edible at best and Hooter's is questionably edible on some days.

Who goes to Hooters for the food?

Yes Nordy's is good. That Serious Texas BBQ is over behind Wally World on 287 right?

I haven't heard of the place in Milliken, and Longmong isn't that far away.

Honestly, I don't care for Nordy's as much as the others or as much as I used to. I still think their lunch buffet is the best value in BBQ but it's not the best BBQ by any stretch of the imagination. I've been wanting to check out the Rubbin' Butts place since they opened the location a couple weeks ago so that's my vote. When are you wanting to meet anyway?

Yeah, I gave up on eating expensive shitty food to look at mediocre busted skanks years ago. If I'm going to go to a place strictly for the talent I'm going to Twin Peaks. FAR better talent and at least the food is good too. Yeah, Serious Texas BBQ is the place between Loveland and Fort Collins on 287 just north of that shitty ass Walmart. Fuck I hate those idiots there (the shitty ass Walmart, not the BBQ joint).

Maybe, maybe not. That Flat Iron one is mostly transplants opening the new restaurant. Enjoy it while you can because once things are running smoothly they will ship them somewhere (Fort Collins?) to open the next one. Then you're left with the talent available in the area. The problem with Fort Collins as Hooters discovered is it's seasonal depending on college and the talent they get isn't that good at actual work, they get pissed and leave the you're left with the skanks that live here. That little Hooter's on College was great when it first opened up for the same reason but it didn't take long to go downhill. I would be concerned about a Twin Peaks here. That being said... I want one here! :D

I guess they just have to market the job to the right girls. 100k+ people in Foco and every night, even in the summer, there are hot ass chicks in the bars.

I need to party in FoCo more, its too fun not to pass up.

EDIT: Only been to the Flatiron one once...not impressed with the talent at all.

NoCo meet!? Ill be there when this happens. FoCo has so many restaraunts so why narrow it to BBQ? For some reason I can't think of a better suggestion at this instant. all I know is that I want to meet up with a few northerners so that we can start meeting up for wheeling runs up here, there are plenty of good trails I've read about, just waiting for the truck to be ready. I just hate to drive 2+ hours for a wheeling trip every time.

I like rasta pasta and there is a tiny Thai food joint with SUPER hot food, you can order it toned down and it is some of the best Thai food I've ever had.

If you have 10 hours run Red Elly>mill creek> bill moore. I say go up bill moore to the Y run mill creek and after you come out if time permits finish the run up bill moore.

I it was a bitch for YOUR trucks, I doubt I will ever be able to run elephant hill. My truck is long and even after I lift it I will need some serious belly protection. Which I plan on. I did bill Moore stock and it was fun but I couldn't do the whoops and we came back down the hard way and it pushed me a few times. No damage though
