Just got my truck back from the body shop yesterday after it got hit by a drunk driver while parked on the street. So far everything seems OK. Lots of new parts were put on the truck. Feels good to be back in the Tacoma after being stuck in a rental for nearly a month.

who knows what about quads, gena is about to win a quad for from work or $7500 towards a quad. i was looking at the polaris razor, which now had about 12 in of ground clearance and 10 inches of suspension travel, but is 16k to start. what about atv style quads. even the john deere rsx is starting at 12999 before adding extras. unless we find a used razor which is what would be perfect, i want to keep it around 10k. any suggestions?

well, the ones i am looking at are about 11 inch or so of ground clearance, 10+ inches of suspension travel, my thoughts are that if i dont want to wheel, i can take this thing, and if i do wheel, gena can go where i can on the quad, so she is not always a passenger.

    what should quads cost.....

Good question. It's been years since I bought a new one, and I most likely never would. They depreciate so much as soon as you drive off the lot and are so readily available used in this current economy I would never know. 1/2 my friends are into stunt riding and quad racing so they always get good deals. There is also no where to ride one down here legally any longer. Heck for 11 grand you could buy one HELL of a fully built trail rig in great condition with about 30k worth of receipts on it. Shit John is selling his pristine built first gen for 14k.

yeah, with the quad, because of her family in ny, my proximity to pa, and attachments like a front plow for my shitty snow covered winters, would be nice. and also, if she wins, the money has to go to a quad, so regardless of cost, free is always good in my book. and a quad fits in my sb, so im ok with it :D

that wouldn't be a bad idea, but i dont konw how they award the money, if they pay the dealer for the quad, or just give us the money to go buy, in that case, it would be a trail rig for sure, auto, so she drive as well.
