the answer isn't to hurry up and buy a bunch of ARs, ...the answer is to put the resources into making sure antis aren't in positions of power, especially in the courts...

because of this, i don't vote for any judges/justices who are:
    a) female
    b) from illinois, mass, ny, cali, etc.

yes, but most are "appointed" by elected officials, this especially goes for fed courts and the SCOTUS...

BTW, there are female pro-gun judges out there, ...we have one running for the OH supreme court ;)

Yeah, the problem is that the higher your optic is from the top rail your going to be off by that much from actual true dead nuts. I just google offset optic mounts.

Mount the scope low. You won't see the front sight.

(If you don't believe me, hold the scope on top of the gun and look through it.)

do this. i tried the go over the front sight route and accuracy really suffers. and you zero will be off more up and down at different ranges. also you cant get a good cheek weld so you wont get good groups.

i have my scope set low on my gun and you honestly cant see the front sight at all. ill try and post a picture

If you like the scope and it's a pinned front sight you might consider shaving it. A pinned front sight makes a perfect low profile gas block. then you can either run it without sights or install a free float tube and then bolt on some flip-ups.

ARs are funny that way. They just keep shooting holes in your wallet.
