The baja emblem sets it apart from other Tacomas. I think it looks good.

I agree. I personally wouldn't remove them if I had bought that package. Those decals show the unique package you have, kinda like your old Mopars and Trans ams with their unique decal packages. I get it though, a lot of people like a more minimal clean look. Keep them for awhile, maybe they'll grow on ya.:D

If you do remove, I would suggest buying a second set from the dealer and keeping them in stored in a cool dry place in case you (or next owner) wants them on. I agree....since the Baja package is a limited edition, the graphics on the truck would help retain the value.

    Great truck! enjoy!

Goo gone wont strip the paint??? I had a bad experience trying to wipe a decal's glue residue off my dash inside my car and it wiped away the paint.

And to the OP, I wouldnt take off the Baja graphics on your truck. More harm than good can happen when removing a decal that big. I worked on our trucks in the past at work putting on and removing decals with a hairdryer and some razor blades. Lets just say the first truck I worked on looked like it got into a fight with a pack of stray cats. If your going to remove them, just take your time and be careful.

    Good luck!

I did it to mine and I just let it sit in the sun for a little bit, scraped the corner off with my finger nail and the whole thing came off pretty easy without much residual adhesive. Spin it around and repeat.

Honestly why buy a baja and remove decals,& why not just buy a Trd Off road in the first place.

Please don't turn this into a Baja vs TRDOR thread. If you don't have advice to give on decal removal, refrain from hitting reply.

If you debadge, I am willing to purchase the tailgate 'TRD' badge from you at a more than reasonable price.

Your truck is unique to alot of Tacomas out there. I think the graphic looks great, and it makes you take a second look to see what kind of truck/package it is.

All the advice is well received. I am not gonna strip the decals on the Baja. The black is so subtle that it really does catch you off guard and make people look to see what it is. Now if it was any other color I would not have bought the package.....too much contrast for me. But that's why they make two color options!

not to mention, the baja decals are almost $600 from the dealer and the small trd badge on the tailgate is $60.
