I went and rode my ninja today. It reminded me of my old 2-stroke KX80 in the way that it doesn't have much power until you get to 7 grand. I got a little brave and took it out on the interstate and she took it beautifully. I didn't go much faster than 60 but it seems like it'll cruse 80mph no problem. I didn't want to pass a big rig so I just kept my distance behind one and rode for a while turned around and did it again and took it back.

Don't go taller- try a Klockwerks or a Ness flip (I think I have the names right) . Both have a slight curl at the top that throws the wind higher.

I assume you own the bike now- congrats, and enjoy. Let me know if you need anything (I am Dimonback on both theVOG and VMC, too). And join the VMC- I held off for a long time, getting all my info from theVOG.net (Andy does a great job with a free website), but I find much more info and riding buddies on the VMC.

Old Girl in storage, has been in there for like a year, sadly. Rebuilding the house, need money for that. She runs, needs quite a bit of work.

I'll have to take a look at those two. I was looking at the ceebaileys 13" but I'd rather a flip style. Like I said my main issue is the buffeting of my head and it seems to be coming over the windshield rather than from under the faring.

Yea I'm like you been holding off but I do need to join. I'll look you up on the vog as well as the vmc.
