HAHA!! I installed a reclaimed amp and sub today. Alpine PDX-5 and some JL sub, tied in real nice with my AVIC 900. Somewhat a 'temp' install, I only ran the sub and haven't decided if I want to run the speakers on the amp too. It's plenty loud tho :)
Thanx to the stereo threads it made running the wires real easy.

Nice, how's that alpine pdx-5? I've thought about getting one and some eD speakers/tweets. Sub maybe sometime down the line, I wanna do a hidden install so I don' lose space but you know how the AC's are lol. And I really don't wanna drop $500 per door for those custom fab'd panels.

After a drive it seems my idle is lower, almost stalling.
I think maybe the amp is pulling too much power,
Or my alternator or battery are about to fail .
Oh well, good thing I didn't buy it.
    Time to test :(
