    If you understand how a sway bar works it’s obvious that there would be an improvement off road by removing it. It’s equally obvious that the on road performance will suffer around corners, especially at speed. Just go hang an off ramp at 15- 20mph over the posted speed, or a long sweeping corner on a mountain pass, and tell me it doesn’t make a difference. It’s all about where your priorities are for your truck.

    Kinda what I was thinking hodge. I don't offroad all that much and was debating just removing it when I ride. Its a bit much to do if you wheel alot but I am on road 95-90% of the time. Since it is wheeling season i'll keep it off and put it back as the season ends.

    Well here hurricane season interrupts all other plans. Not just the hurricanes but it rains on and off steady for months, which makes traveling the roads to go wheeling nearly impossible. As in the road is 1 lane and the ditches on both sides are too Damn deep and narrow. I don't mind wheeling and getting stuck but to get stuck and damage your truck on the way to riding is kinda embarrassing.

    I hear alot about waiting for quick disco's for the SB.....Why not take the bolt holding the link to the spindle, drill a small 1/16 hole in it, and use a washer and a cotter pin? Then, when you pull it off, just zip tie the Sb end link to it self.......

    I was thinking about removing the end link when I did mine today but was wondering if it wouldn't be in the way while wheeling when it was Zip tied back. The sw bar want to rest on the cv boot.

    Removed my sway bar today while replacing my ripped up cv boot - front susp. feels like its working like it should (free), but way more body roll on corners for sure..

    i took mine off to, so much better and smooth, more body roll but it's ok.
