I am looking for rod ends ( bushed DOM sleeves) for my tire carrier

I know ruffstuff makes them, but they are a little overkill for this

There was another popular company for weld on tabs that made something similar, but I cannot remember the name.

I started with a P and I though it was PTE Performance, but that comes up as some mustang performance shop?

    A&A does not carry them,

Anyone recognize a popular fab supplier that starts witha P

    I can't freakin remember :frusty:

    I am looking for a 1.5" .120 wall sleeve for a 1/2" bolt

I built my own bender using the takacs cycles plans. Only cost me about $100 plus the dies. It uses pro tools dies or similar. The dies are the expensive part

whats the best way to cut 3/16" aluminum? I used a cutting wheel before and its a pain in the ass. Is there a special type of cutting wheel I can use for aluminum?

I like aluminum cutting circular saw blade for long/straight cuts, and as Brian said a jigsaw/sawzall for smaller things

You're right it was probably a little more with the cheap harbor freight air over hydro ram. The square tube is 2x .25 wall which cost me $40, the two small 5/8" pivots were from a scrap yard that cost me 40 cents/lb and I got the two arm pieces with the holes laser cut from a guy for $40, I think I paid maybe $60 for the ram so maybe it was $150:rolleyes:

I just got all mine from AutoFab. They were pretty cheap compared to everybody else.

Borrowed my dads jigsaw and it worked great, thanks for the suggestion. Aluminum is tough stuff! I might try the aluminum circular saw blade next time. I needed long straight cuts and got it straight for the most part

Yep, that's how I cut the "TACOMA" into my skid plate. Took about two hours.

Bought a plasma cutter the next week.

Who can cut stuff out? Im thinking it may be cheaper to just make the face and weld a tube on the back. Its for bringing the exhaust out of the fender a few members wanted here
