Calling all Virginians (Tidewater area)

Just did an AAL for a central va'in yesterday, but dont know what you are calling the alignment clamp bolts. There is the leaf pack center pin, and the ubolts and the mounting bolts to the hangers. What you talking about willis?

ill get some pics tomorrow. theyre called that in the instructions. there is two on each leaf. one in the front, one in the rear. i got the center pin, and the ubolts squared away. honestly not sure what these things even do. ill snap a pic tomorrow

 

good seeing all u guys today! sorry i couldnt stay longer. hopefully ill see u guys before shoe creek again. also, please help me out if you would like to head over there friday instead of saturday and just camp the weekend down there, please go to the shoe creek meet thread and tell me. if 11 different people say they want to go friday, then friday it is. and we also may not have to leave at 0600 since we dont have to be back that night... i hope this doesnt affect anyone being able to go. so far it looks like well have a good turnout and i dont want anyone to miss out on this! anyways, need feedback guys! thanks everyone!

 

See what'd happened was that some bishes tried to fax me shit all night at the office which made the phone ring a couple dozen times and woke me up.


So now I'm sitting here with some coffee plotting my revenge.

 

so basically as you can see in the pics, that bracket is too low for the bolt to go through but as you can see in the last picture you cant compress the springs anymore because of the round piece on the bottom of the leafs. any ideas whats going on?

 

Prob have to grind the round off for it to sit flush

 

I would cut the whole OEM version off and just use the one on the AAL

 

The add a leaf is on backwards

When I added my overload back on I did the same on the passenger side. Need to get back under there before I wheel it.

^^this is where id start, you shouldnt have to grind that off. If you do have to grind tho, make sure you have the stock leafs c-clamped tight so they dont spread out.

 

it shouldnt be backwards because the hole is off centered and the shorter side has to go forward and the longer goes to the rear. i double checked to make sure i did that right.
