    it was quite interesting at first seeing the roads . or the trucks driving over large bodys of frozen water. doesnt happen much here in houston:)
    then it got popular and they kinda ruined it . but its shows canadians in a good light;)

    The sad part is that scociety / viewers these shows and the fact that the networks are even able to pay the bills. I mean, who are the viewers and what's in their head when they actually not only watch but, then admit to watching these shows?

    I agree with this^. It reminds me of the episode of south park where kyle wonders where America's "bar" of standards has gone. I also think in addition to subject of the thread and the previous poster is that American's have also become infatuated with obese people as well. I'm not trying to be insesitive but it's sad when people don't think about the health issues and how it's ok to obese these days.
    I've also noticed that on most popular tv shows, even shows on channels like discovery or science, they add background music, cut the camera angles, zoom in and out, it just adds stupid effects and drama that make the show hard to watch. It's frustrating and annoying IMO.
