    Stock coils at 2.5 will be a shit ride with stock coils. You can get away with stock ucas at that setting. Some trucks do better then others. Dont waste your time with the stock coils. Just get the 885's. Unless you want to do the work and then redo it. You should get new ucas but you can get away with not doing it with a less then great ride.

    Its all up to you. Everyone has given you all the answers you need.

    And after whatever you do, you will need a alighnment.

    Idk what the hell I want.. Lol just coils or just billies. Whatever gives the most lift. But I'm not gonna do both. I really don't care about the ride..

    You bought a $30K truck and you don't care about the parts you are going to add to it ?

    If you dont know what you want and dont care how it rides. Then i have the perfect lift for you. Spacers and rear blocks. Its cheap, works, and rides like shit. Enjoy.

    I wouldn't be asking all these questions if I didn't care. If I'm lifting it I'm expecting it to ride like a lifted trick not a Cadillac.

    I'd like to stay under 500 bucks. I'm just stuck on either the 885 coils or 5100 billies set at 2.5.

    Ok this is easy then.

    Billys cost 300 for all 4 885's are about 160. An aal is about 100. Do the work your self and you gtg.

    5100's front and rear, front 2.5" rear 2" AAL, 18% tint front and rear, color matched grill. SCS wheels 275/70/17 BFG AT KO's. DTRL toggle switch.
    5100's with 885 going to be your best bet for a decent ride and a fair price. My setup is 5100 at 2.5" with 2" AAL and billys in the back. My alignment was ok. I ended up adding UCA's not because I had to but because I wanted a better highway experience. The only thing I wish I had done differently was add 885 at the time of install insted of stock springs. I will get 885 soon.

    Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
    Have you considered a shorter aftermarket coil like 884s or 883s, with the billys set at zero with a shorter coil then you are less likely to need UCAs. Then if you wanna go higher set them at .85, if you alignment sucks then get UCAs or go back to zero.

    that's my exact setup. ran stock coils with 5100s @ 2.5" (actually gave me 2.75" of lift from stock) for a couple months. ride was harsh and my alignment sucked, wandered around at highway speed. upgraded to 885x coils and LR UCAs, rides and tracks much better, got 1/8" lift vs 5100s @ 2.5" (2 7/8" from stock).

    I may look at doing that setup of 5100's @ 0 and 855x. With near stock ride..did you just bring it to a crappy alignment place or did you really need aftermarket UCA's? (not to hijack someones thread..but it kinda belongs in here lol)

    Might be an idiot..but you aren't say that will give 2 7/8in lift eh?

    shop said the most caster they could get was around 1* with stock UCAs, hard to say whether that's actually true.
    eh, with 885x coils and 5100s @ 0 I got 2 7/8" lift from stock.

    hub to fender, stock to 885x coils:
    DS 20 1/4" --> 23 1/8"
    PS 20 3/8" --> 23 1/4"
