Lol I meant to put stuck deeper but my brain shut down and put that instead:D

Man I would love to get back up there sometime, that was a cool area. Nice and secluded.

Actually I would enjoy that. Keep me updated? If work and my classes allow it I'd be down for a day drive.

    will do.

Monte gave me parts that need to get to Tony so he and I need to meet up at some point...figured we'd see if anyone else wanted to get together too and have a little fun while we're at it.
Skyline is a good drive...maybe 4 hours "off pavement". Totally do-able in a day.

I've been up there twice now and its been smoky both times  I'd like to see what the view is like when its clear! Hopefully by Wednesday we'll have our minds made up.

Depending on the day and what not, I'll try to talk my buddy into coming if he isnt going hunting. Pretty slim odds but worth a try lol.

A 94 single cap toyota pickup. Its lifted, 35s, geared, flatbed. Its a sweet rig.

Although he did own a jeep at one time in the past.

With moveable bolts. There are two rails that hold 4 bolts. You can slide the bolts up and down the rails. You put one bolt on each side of the bar you use for a rack. Then you use a pre drilled tab that the bolts go into. Then you suck it up with nuts...if that makes sense. I can get a pic for you if ya want

Tony, really sorry to hear about the job loss. I hope it all works out for you.

IIRC, its about 14" from the top of the bed rails to the underside of the rack. I can't go measure it for you because I took it off and its stored at work. If I could redo it, I think I would make it about 2" shorter. That would get the top of the tent more out of the wind and still leave enough room under the rack to make the bed space usable.

Mac, here's a pic. Not a close up tho you can see how the two rearmost clamps attach to my rack.

That's it? So essentially for bolts puking in two bars hold that thing? Wow way more simple than i thought. Thanks for the exhilarating Monte, and the pic Mike. God i want one if those lol maybe next summer.

I like the idea of mounting it lower to try to "hide" it behind the cab so as to not have a huge effect on the aerodynamics of the truck but at the same time I don't want to create a huge blindspot by mounting it too low.
I can kinda get an idea from the pic what height you have yours at...looks like a few inches below the top of the rear glass

WHY YOU NO SPEAK ENGLISH?!!?
