    My build started the first day that i bought my truck. If I remember correctly, it was the black housing tail lights that i picked up first. I figured that I wanted to go with the "Stormtrooper" look. After about a few months, i found this website then started getting into the DIY's and MOD's that people have been doing on their Tacoma's and put my own twist on them. I wanted to make my own build thread so i can update it with MOD's that I have been doing. These 2 pictures are from the first few day of having my truck.

    The 4th day that i had it, i had to take it in the mud. Didn't think about not having 4X4, I just wanted to get dirty. Unfortunately, I got stuck and it was at 11:00 at night. I had my girlfriend with me and my 2 friends, we were all muddy except for my girlfriend who was the driver while we were getting a nice coat of mud pushing it out. This was the aftermath...

    Getting a sound system should be on everyone list of things that they would like to do with their trucks. I am a huge fan of bass so i could not live without subwoofers. I got 3 Rockford Fosgate P1 10" subs behind the bench seat powered by a JL Audio amplifier. Also installed a Kenwood double din deck. Looks clean.

    I like the mean look that came with the purchase of the T-Rex eyelids and wouldn't change it for anything. These things are bad ass! Purchased a set of black housing head lights as well. Also got a grenade shifter knob which later i painted black to go with my "Stormtrooper" theme. Will update pictures soon...

    haha yeah. and depending on what you will be doing. nitto terra maybe a good tire. i have them in 265/75r16 on my 4x4 and for fire/ logging and even mud i have never really needed 4x4. just a little more throttle. i can keep up with my buddy that has fj with BFG all terrains with both in just 2wd. so i know both those tires can take some mud and rocks/trails.

    edit: get a good tire and you will be able too do a hole lot more.

    285/75/16 Bfg All Terrains, add a leaf in the rear, bilstein 5100's all the way around and someone built different upper arms before i bought it.
    those eyelids are sick! do they just use double sided tape or what?

    oh nice. yep i have not either. i did with the damn rugged fails in the snow on my drive way.:eek: they have like 30+k on them at the time. and my drive way is pretty steep. (more than a 7% grade, prob close to 9 maybe 10% grade) tires packed full of snow and would not clean them selfs.

    My friends got me this Westin light bar for my b-day last year and I had to put it on. Probrably going to upgrade to the Avid Offroad light bar soon. Got some cheap-o halogen 55w off road lights from autozone to fill in the light tabs (which were a POS). I have already upgraded.     When me and my friends always went riding, at least 1 bike would fall over or almost fall over on the way out. We came up with the idea of making a wheel chock for the front wheels that would space 2 bikes out evenly and also keep them straight up and down. We then made the "RBK". It works awesome and is easily removed.

    The new 2012-2013 have the front bumper, under the lower grill, blacked out. I liked the way that it looked so i did it. Very nervous while doing it, make sure u tape and tarp good.
