for about 1300 (or thats what i paid) you get for dual camber shocks

    Two coilovers front
    Two rear air shocks

together you can crank them up to 3 inches front and rear lift if you have new ucas

Does any part of you wish you'd gotten some coil-overs for your truck or are you satisfied with the performance struts?

I'm taking a different tack from everyone else.

I'm guessing you're on a budget and you don't mention rear suspension at all. Nor do you mention tires and wheels. Since someone else is buying the front for you, I'm guessing (maybe wrong) that it'll be a while before you can afford these other components.

I'm not a fan of lifting the front 3" and leaving the rear at stock ride height.

So my suggestion is a complete set of bilstein 5100s, all 4 corners. Set them at 1.75 in the front and get a 1.5" add a leaf in the back. All up that's safely under your $1000 threshold, even including shipping and the alignment you'll need after you do the install.

That'll work really well, and will keep your truck from being 'ass-down' and won't look too weird while you're waiting to get your upgraded tires and wheels.

EDIT: Gaa! I've been bitten by Replying to Old Thread Bump Syndrome! (ROTBS ;-) )
