Those tabs don't have any strength at all. I've broken a few on my previous set of lights.

Nice man . I put a bead of silicone around the outside edge of the housing to make sure no water or moisture gets in . There will be a night and day difference between stock and these . I think you will be very happy with them .

I re-did the sealant with 3M WindowWeld. My only concern is where the bulb wires poke through the rubber boot. The H1 bulbs are a lot smaller than the stock bulbs so I think I'm going to gum the boot up with RTV silicone to make a tight seal around the wires. That's one pro of the D2S over the H1 but not a big deal. Hopefully this will be the last lighting project I'll do on this truck

I hear ya... it's the tab in the front that holds the bottom of the grill in place. A little JB Weld ought to do the trick.

    Hello, Mr. Mayor.

I saw a poll the other day where one of the options was Delmarva for President... Are you moving up in the world?

Apparently... not sure how I ended up on that poll

I guess my disdain for that particular thread vaulted me to poll status... although I did only receive 4 votes...

Gotta wait for a time when I can use the oven without getting my head ripped off by my dad for "endangering a new oven". He feels its dangerous. It's not... Low heat for a short amount of time

Kendra gave me the green light to use the new oven for my birthday :D

Just remember to put cardboard on the rack so the headlight doesn't touch the metal and otherwise, it's a quick and easy process. This was my second time tearing a set of headlights apart and it went very smooth both times.

I'll note the cardboard. I haven't read about that before.

I thought most people were just reheating the original stuff to reseal the headlights? When I released mine, one of them leaked, so I did that one light again and it still leaks. One day I'll get motivation to redo the silicone on it. Weird thing is, it wouldn't leak during heavy rain, just light rain.

Ya I'm a fan of 3m products . I did used silicone after the headlight was put together . Just a bead on the outside edge to make sure it's sealed completely . And waterproof. Only thing I fucked on was not cleaning the clear lense before putting it back together . So I have a dirty lense. One of these days ill redo it but at least it doesn't leak .
