Happens all the time. we are use to it. No biggie. It'll work itself out in the end.

    AIN'T SKEERED!!!

Glad you have some perspective. For one, two teams ahead HAVE to play each other if they each win out, so there's one you'll jump for sure (if you stay undefeated). The other team (K-State) just doesn't seem to me to be good enough to stay undefeated.

If I were a duck fan, I'd be more worried about the fighting leprechauns than anybody. IMO, if ND is undefeated, they're in the game ahead of any other undefeated team. Not saying it's right, but I believe it to be true.

Sad news for Chizik, who has enough on his mind already. His mother, Rita, passed away today.

Thoughts and prayers to him and his family.

He's a Noles fan. Just cheerin for the Dawgs cuz the Noles fans always hate Florida.

You can play what if all ya want. We still won. If VAndy had gotten the obvious pass interference call they might have beat SC. Of grandma had nuts, she'd be grandpa. It's a W (albeit, ugly) for us, and just another L for Kentucky. It's ok...it's almost college basketball season. At least they can win at something.

This is pretty much what we have been discussing.

That.....And that we need to just do what Chip talks about and play one week at a time and just beat the next opponent. Then let the other teams above us beat the shit out of each other and shit will thin out.

We play them tough every year, and we are much improved over last year. I think we match up better with LSU than we do with Bama but I think it'll be close for 3 quarters. Ultimately we'll get worn down because of Bama's depth of talent but you shouldn't sleep on my bulldogs.

Ahhh, finally back to my house and my computer. Now I can actually type out a full message without having to get pissed off at typing on the tablet.

The Ducks will pass over K-state in the next few weeks. I see K-State losing to TT this weekend. TT had a more dominant win over WV than KSU did. Plus, they are a one player offense. You stop Klein and you stop the team mainly since he does EVERYTHING for them. I think TT has the better defense (defense? Big12? This year? ) than KSU does and will hold them to under 30 points while being able to put up a few more.

ND will lose to OU this weekend. I don't like either team and I really, I mean REALLY hate all of the Stoop's but I just can't stand ND's "we are better than you so we don't need to play in a conference" attitude. They will find out what actually playing a defense is like. Plus, they still have to play at USC. I know, Oregon does as well but I think Oregon has the better all around team of the top 5 (minus #1).

Oregon still plays USC and OSU. OSU isn't as good as their record states. No offense now without their main QB in the game. Defense is great, but who have they really played this year? Wiscy is choking all season. USC is good, but they don't have a running game this year. Oregon's CB's will match up great with the WR's and the D-line will be able to get plenty of pressure on Barkley to make him try to use his feet which he doesn't have.

Am I missing anything about the latest BCS? I am leaving Florida and Alabama out of this because they will have to play each other if they win out which I stated before, so one will be gone by final polls.

I'm really enjoying MS State this year. I've been waiting on them to break through and it's exciting watch them do it. I wouldn't mind them beating The Mullet Nation (Bama) but I don't think anyone is going to beat them this year.

Doubtful buddy....ours was pretty damn bad. Besides....even if ya'll lose in a respectful way (like within 3 to 7 points)......a 2 loss season is nothing to be ashamed about. Unless you're like me & tired of your team being middle of the SEC. _sheesh_aad5f5753bc75a1d20af66f59fdb9bb6b859e91b.gif

I'm still convinced we haven't played a full game yet. Do I expect a win? No, but I expect it to be a field goal game. I do however think we beat LSU.

A 2 loss season isn't good enough. It is for a lot of people, but I'm tired of it. With our schedule this year and the talent on our team, we should have gone 10-0.

We play y'all early again next year, so we'll get to be excited or pissed off early, like normal.

I thought that about my team too. We played them fairly close but not good enough in the end. I'd like to see ya'll beat LSU but I wouldn't put any money on the game. ;)

No offense to Lattimore and Shaw, but there is a better offensive unit in Starkville. We have the leading rusher in the SEC and the only runningback in the nation to score in every game in LaDarius Perkins and a solid group of receivers for Tyler Russell to throw to, 15 touchdowns 1573 yards and only 1 interception. We also lead the nation in turnover difference. We should be able to put up more points against LSU than y'all did.

It isn't about how many wins or loses so much to me, it's the fact that we NEVER beat anybody were not supposed to. Last year and again this year we have only beaten the teams we were supposed to, and struggled to do that with some. I heard last week that we were something like 2-12 against ranked teams since 2008. That's "ranked" teams, not top 10, just ranked. It's boring! Big deal if we won 10 games last year, none were that impressive.

Where is the passion to beat a higher ranked team? Where's the coach that lead a young team with a freshman QB into Knoxville and pulled off the unthinkable last second victory? Where is the coach that lead the Dawgs to a last second victory in Auburn to clinch the SEC east? What happened to that fire? Maybe I'm wrong, but I've felt many times we had a better more rounded team and yet get out coached time and time again. We have too much talent to not do better. We need a coach!

Yes 'Bama is statistically better.....I would love to see an undefeated Crimson Tide plan an undefeated Irish for the BCS Championship game but the Gators and Ducks are in the way.......
