Funny how you have the people who don't live here talking about not living here.... who gives a shit? Don't live here if you don't like it.
Arizona is not for everybody kinda like beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I lived in Santa Monica CA for three years and hated every second of it (could not wait to get back to AZ). How many people do you think i found who agreed with me? None. Ask me if i ever gave a shit. People have different lifestyles and I like mine in AZ.
Arizona is a desert. People talking about lack of water first need to google some "desert" definitions to figure it out. And yet we have enough waters for everyone who wants a boat, has a place to run it. Not to mention we make enough electicity to hold our own and light up the Vegas strip just with the Colorado river...
Nightlife....did you guys ever go to Tempe on Mill ave or in oldtown Scottsdale? There's enough nightlife and loose colege chicks to give you a fucking hartatack.
We got more trails here than we can run, with more good weather to do it than we want.
We can carry guns with or without permits and shoot motherfuckers too. Crime rate here is intense in like two neighbourhoods. Do i need to mention they're the minority populated ones....it's what they do. And even if something crawles up your ass to go into those areas you can take an AK47 and a Desert Eagle with you just in case....In California i had to go to South Central a few times and East LA a few for work (const) and if shit hit the fan all i had was a hammer, some nails and cops who give more shit about Rodney King's rights then mine.
As far as the heat is concerned, yea don't come here in the summer time....go to fucking Florida.
There's no earthqaeks, hurricanes, volcanos, tsunamis, avalanches, landslides, floods or nothing. Just some hot summer days that i'll personally take over anyone of those other things any day.
But you're right, we got nothing here. Just land, trucks and firepower...and crazy ass Joe Arpaio...lol And somehow everybody I meet is eighter from Chicago, New York, Florida or California...
If you don't like it here you don't like the desert. But that doesn't mean nobody should....that's all I'm saying.
