Got home from work today and saw a nice puddle of radiator fluid on the driveway, turned out to have a nice 2" crack on the top tank of radiator. So that's how I spent my afternoon putting in a new one. All is well now.

Hey, your screen name is pretty funny.. I've got a logo I made in college that your name reminded me of- if you want to use it. I eat taco bell, it was a parody logo assignment.

Not today but two days ago...
Finally got these wired up and mounted. The lights themselves seem like they are very well made. Housing is powder coated aluminum, the mounting brackets and hardware are all stainless steel. Over all I think they are great for the price. Doing the math, it comes out to about 28 lumens per $1. Hard to beat. Here are a few pics. The night shots are Low, High beams, and High beams with LED's on. The pic really doesn't do them justice. These things are BRIGHT! I was under the impression that these were spot beams but they seem more of a euro beam...which I'm not mad about. I have them ran off of a DPDT rocker and wired to either be On, Off, or On with High beams.

I wouldn't say that 37's would be to much for a 44 especially with yota power and weight. Whats the D44 out of?

Drove my Taco back to Orlando and back over the weekend. Was happily surprised by its road manners and gas mileage on the highway. Think we averaged 18 mpg on the way up (with the first quarter being around town which I think was about 16 mpg). Liked seeing over 300 miles on the odometer before filling again :D

And while I was at it, I cleaned 14 years of dust out of my vents and duct behind the center dash.

    So far so good.

Made my stock speakers sound a little better.

Waiting on the Raamaudio shipment tomorrow before I sound deaden and put the new front speakers in.

I'm weary of the ones I bought as they have mixed reviews.

I'm having the wife get me a deck for Xmas. How is the bluetooth on that deck? Does it sync automatically or do you have to do it every time? It'll support pandora from an iPhone?

I paired it once with my iPhone 4 and every time I get in the truck it automatically pairs itself.

All my contacts are available from the phone too as well as the "recents" and voicemail.

And it streams Pandora from my iPhone as well.

Not to mention any audio from my iPhone such as TuneIn Radio, etc...

So far I really like it. The iPod integration control on the head unit is good enough. I like the fact that it has nearly 30 different colors you can set for the buttons and display, separately (someone refresh my algebra... that's a lot of combinations) so I can eventually dial the color of the display in to my liking. In terms of phone calls, what I hear over the speakers sounds amazing. I will probably just have to buy a better mic because initial feedback from a couple of calls is that I sound "distant." They said it's bearable to listen to though.

The only annoying thing is there's a small rectangle in the upper right of the display that has a graphic that either spins around (remember the video game Tempest?) or flashes. I have no explanation for it other than it's there to constantly pick at my OCD and nerves.

From the sounds of things it may be a good fit for my use...Hope you can figure out the spinning graphic as that would drive me nuts too. I've been looking at them for a while now and really can't decide if I wanna go single or dbl din. I'm really digging the touch screens... The wifes Venza has a pretty slick JVC in it (stock) and I'm so jelly of hers. She's got it all with that thing.
