Well I went with an AFE and initially I left the cover off for additional 'air flow' (sound) but now with it back on it's much more subdued. Hopefully I can keep my foot out of it a bit...

    LOL!

I never noticed 1st and 2nd Gen had their own "What have you done"

I saw your other thread with the full FXR install writeup. Good job.

Removed my diff drop. Also cut off an inch or so off my front fenders. Getting some body trim to clean up the lines a bit. Decently happy with it

Removed diff drop? Curious as to why? Clearance issues?

From what I've seen, and people I wheel with... you don't need it. If I'm wheeling hard enough to break cv's. Then the 1.5 inch drop wont do much to help. Plus I loose a good amount of clearance and the diff hung below the transfer case skid about half an inch. I'd rather have my CV suffer than smacking a rock on my diff.

^ Did some more searching on the 2nd gen diff drops. Seems it just rotates the diff and doesn't really drop it all that much, also causing lube starving due to the tilted diff.?

Back on topic, BHLM'd my headlights, and installing OME 885 coils this eve. Eibachs are just too damn stiff for a stock front end IMO, unless all you do is road driving. Last I had the eibachs off road with the billies set at .85 it was really rough!

Sorry no pictures to post right now of BHLM but I'll have some up tonight.

Added some body trim to clean up the edges. I like the look and one package was long enough to fit all 4 fenders.
