Count me in (with wife).....sounds like it will be a good time, and close for me, bout an hour away. I'd really like to get sliders, some new tires, and a cb by then,....but that will likely cause the wife and I to get seperated, ya see I have this "slight spending problem" that she kinda takes issue with (well, more like REALLY takes issue with!). So, tough decision here,....take wife OR take some really cool new mods.

 

Tell her you need them to get in the park or something like that haha

 

Or make up some excuse about them adding safety and always throw in the protecting your new truck excuse

 

well first off don’t let her see this. tell her sliders will help and keep truck from getting damage, not just off road either at the store it will stop from door dings. and tell her a CB will help communicate with other(on and off road) help have safer road trips because you can find out where cops are or crashes rosh shut down. tires will help also. we are suppose to have above average snow fall this winter, so you need a good tire that has a lot of tread.

 

yeahIve used the ol "protection" angel quite a bit already w/ the weathertechs, seatcovers, and bedmat.....so dont think I'll be able to squeeze much more out of it, especially w/ the price of sliders and new tires!!.... Plus she aint 21 so the "need em to get in the park" line aint gonna fly W/ her either!

 

maybe I can use the "tax returnangel".....even tho I doubt I'll get enuff back for sliders & tires, but she wont know that......thats it,.....I'll "inflate" my tax return amount!!

yep, the tacoma mod disease.....a terrible thing, it forces us to lie and deceive in order to get our "fix." But hopefully they understand that its much better that we have an affair w/ our trucks instead of another woman!!! lol

 

you can get BAMF with kick out for $340. $300 if you don’t get the kick outs. and i would not powder coat if you going to take them off road. i’m just going to do 2 coats of rattle can primer and 3 maybe 4 coats of flat black. that will take some beating, and i can just keep a can in the truck and touch up if i need too.

 

Yea im fine w/ rattle can....they bolt or weld on??
