I'm the opposite lol. I don't really care to party all that much. I'll have a drink here and there but I would rather work alot and save as much money as I can. I guess I'm different.

I think the Tacoma headlights are by far the best compared to any vehicle I've ever owned. I run Nokya 5000K halogens and the light output is great. I tried HIDs in the stock housing and light output (from the drivers point of view) was worse. I'd like to see what HIDs look like with the retrofit.

It's only going to be toxic if you actually burn or really melt them. Simply heating them below their melting point shouldn't be an issue, unless you use them as a food dish lol

The FX-R is a lot more involved and requires drilling and bolting the projector to the reflector bowl. The H1 and D2S minis are simple and tighten using a lock nut, no permanent modification required. Also, the D2S or the H1 with the upgraded bulbs are damn near as good as the FX-R's anyways so you don't really gain a whole lot more by going with the more expensive kit. The FX-R can take a 55W bulb and ballast though but it's really not needed.

Also, there is another group buy for projectors going on right now. They just started taking names yesterday or today.

You can still have fun watching other women try to chase you :D

Follow an Infiniti, Nissan Murano, Lexus LS 460 or 430, Honda S2000, Acura TL (lots of other cars have decent projectors but the ones I listed are some of the better ones that come stock). Notice how wide the beam pattern is and the sharp cutoff is. I can also throw up a couple pics from the captain's chair once I'm aimed properly.

Not when you find the right one. Getting rid of Sarah would be a terrible life decision. I've played the field, then I caught her. Game won bro

I've always considered 5000K to be pure white, and 6000K to have a blue tint. Guess it depends on the scale you look at.

My headlights have a really cool natural yellow tint to the lenses:cool: I should probably fix that those projectors are sick.

I've got 5000K HIDs in my motorcycle and they look a little blue compared to the 4300K I just put in the truck. If you just saw the 5000K alone, and not side by side with 4300K bulbs, you wouldn't think they're blue if that makes sense (not ricey blue).

I like my bulbs to be as white as possible. There is a brand called PIT that make halogens that are that pure white look I like. Unfortunately they are high wattage and only last a few thousand miles.

I have some H4 6000K bulbs with ballasts if anyone is interested.

Ok so it sounds like either one is a good option. You said you upgraded bulbs did you have to go with the 55w ballast also

Bill you want to stick with the 35 watt . They give you a few options when it comes to bulbs . Cheap and more expensive lol
