In all respect to you LT guys, the lifted ones, the lowered ones, I figured I'd start a thread for the Working Class Heroes out there who are using their Tacomas for what they were meant for...work!
Someday I hope to reward my truck with making her my Toy, but right now, with a kid in college and bills that don't pay themselves, I rely on my truck to bring in the checks. She has never let me down, did everything I ever asked of her with no complaints and on top of that, dayum if she doesn't make me look good!
So what do you do for a living and post some pics of your Tacoma working hard!

I do landscaping and anything that gets a check through the door.

Here's mine with a baby Bobcat on the way to the job.

Estimate load weight with cap and shell about 3500 lbs with airbags, AAL and Billie 5100's, I don't recommend trying this at home, I am a deranged professional

My work truck only a few weeks old, still has the dealer plates on it. I service and sell fire extinguishers

I've wondered how these trucks do hauling a skid steer. Do you know the weight of yours off hand?

It's a rental but I think the trailer was 1200 and the Bobcat was 3200? Could be wrong though.

I drive a lot, I figured at some point the odds are good I may need this one day, didn't want no wussy 2.5's or 5's, this has almost 30 seconds of runtime, imo worth the extra weight and size

Absolutely, when a whole engine bay or cab of a car is on fire its going to take alot more then 2.5-5 lb of powder to put it out

Some beastly trucks posted on here! Very nice!!

I wouldn't say I purchased my..what I call.."mighty mouse" 1st gen double cab primarily as a working man's truck but I did haul 450 sq ft worth of laminant flooring + rolls of under-layer pads with ease today from Lowe's that included driving the entire family home. I used a 10% Lowe's coupon plus they had a pretty sweet sale on flooring, got everything under $500 out the door. It was a hefty load of fake wood but the taco pulled everyone and everything home without hesitation! With the wife and I plus the 2 kids filling up the entire cab, I think that is pretty impressive. I just LOVE the utility and off road joyfulness our tacos bring!
