Currently on my 5th streetbike, 08 Ducati Hypermotard 1100. I had 4 other sport bikes before that. Been riding for 9 years now. I ride dirt as well. Actually banged up a few ribs today. I'm hurting. :(

Ducati bikes are amazing..love how they sound and look, perform just as well..i havent technically been riding or ever owned one personally but ride every so often and its awesome..i use my friends cbr600 when i do ride, has plenty of power but i dont wanna buy a 600 then want more power then want a 1000 or somethin
The 2012 zx6 is 7,999 right now and is a badass deal for one so i may have that or the zx10 which is two grand or so more which isnt mich of a diff in price

^ Ducs are fun bikes WHEN they work right. They are a bitch when it comes to maintenance. I wouldn't buy another. I'd go back to a Jap bike or triumph 675. As far as what your looking for, it's really a matter of preference for ya. I'm 5'11" 185 Lbs and I had a lot of fun with my 600s. I had an R1 before ( one of my favorites ever ) and it was stolen unfortunately. I didn't like it at the track though. It was too big for me to comfortable on and haul ass in the turns like i did on my R6. For the city & 1/4 mile though, it was a blast. If your comfortable with the power of a liter bike and ok with the extra cost compared to zx6, then just get it. Just be safe man.

Well could be number a things. Rack and pinion, ball bearings, or bushings. I had same thing what I did was jack it up and lay under truck and had wife turn the wheel so I can pin point where noise was coming from. Then I started disconnecting things first was UCA from spindle and nose was gone.

Im 5'11 165lbs lol idk if 20 pounds on a bike would make much of a difference...i like the r6 and r1 but i think it has a little too much rake the zx6&10 are a little more comfy but im probably only gonna be used on the weekends(planning to) idk i dont think ill be going too fast but that almost never fails lol:p
    Safety is most important always

I have a popping too....i think its coming from the bolts that the LCA's are connected too.. Not sure what they are called, maybe someone can enlighten us. Look like dials with a nut, think its used for alignment...

That's funny I'm going to La Pryor Texas this weekend on a trophy hunt. Also a helicopter hog hunt. Some times it has perks to being a wounded warrior.
