Talking red letters? I hear they are mainly a sand tire and kinda lack on the rest.

These KM2s are kinda frisky on the wet pavement compared to my Bighorns. However, they really take to the mud better and they do better deforming around obstacles.

x2 for the guys up here. They get it right the first time.

Yes all brake and aligned crew have certs and training for such etc...

i work at the one in Scappoose, i believe the front - parts/if needed is 56.25.
The machine uses lazers and cost around 40,000. (that's why they charge that.)

Irrelevant to what he was saying, but it seems you want derail the topic and perpetuate said shit storm with your comment.

He was expressing his lack of faith in Schwabs due to the fact they completely disregarded his request/interest in a specific product even after confirming what it was he wanted.

I agree, most Schwabs locations have gone downhill service-wise. They've have never given two-shits about my requests to keep the caster set where it's at to avoid rubbing, and didn't know (or want to know) anything about my adj. UCAs even after showing them the adjustment guide. This wasn't an isolated incident either, 3 separate locations.

Also, anytime I ask about them special ordering tires/wheels they don't normally stock, they try their hardest to sell me on something else, usually an inferior product that is way over-priced. If they do say they can special order something, the prices they quote are usually 30%-40% higher than other local shops.

I do enjoy their Virtual Tire/Wheel demo though :D

On that note, Firestone Lifetime Alignment FTMFW!!! They have never given me shit about wheeling, they actually know how to adjust my UCAs accordingly and actually recommend them to folks w/ lifted rigs to get back in spec., they don't care if I come in 3 times in a month or after every wheeling trip, and I've never had to go back to get it re-aligned (unlike Schwabs).

This has been my experience as well. I also like that Firestone has better hours.

*sorry, I sound like a complete dick here. It's just funny you post a biased opinion of out-sourcing jobs, and then say "let's avoid a shitstorm". Cut and run!

 Did I come across as angry? It's pretty hard to convey emotions with text and emoticons, so need to tell me to calm down.

I was just sharing my opinion about my local Les Schwab locations. I have a good understanding of their business model, but my dealings with them havent been great at 3 of the 4 stores within 15 miles of eachother. Statistically speaking, that's shit service 75% of the time

Regardless, I can still give advice based on what I liked or didn't like about my experiences.

70% made in the USA. The other 30% (engine/trans) is made in Japan by an ally. Les is rolling over in his grave, and it's sad his vision for the company has been desecrated for a little more profit. I like tires made in Prineville. I even like tires made in countries friendly to us by skilled manufacturers, but I do not trust the lives of my family on shitty china tires. You're a tire guy, you know the truth, china tires are garbage. Plus, lying about it when it's cleary stamped on the sidewall just to make a $30 sale is ridiculous. They will never get my business again, and I will continue to bad mouth them at every opportunity.

Well got the Light Racing UCAs delivered tonight. Damn these things are beefy. Much larger then I thought they would be. Reading over the instructions they seem very easy to adjust too. Maybe I should just keep these.....
