Hey, i got a 06 Tacoma TRD Offroad and it seems to me that if i have any kind of weight in the bed it shows alot of squat.. I cant even tow my fourwheeler to the hunt club cause it bottoms out. I had the bilstein adjustable shocks installed about 5 months ago and i also have that vibration from the front driver side cv axle. I was just wondering what i should do to fix the squat?

There's really nothing you can do to fix the current leaf pack from squating. You'll have to replace the leaf packs with a new ones.

The bed on a Tacoma is like the hood scoop. It's a nice styling lick, and really finishes off the look of the truck. Like the scoop, it is not intended to serve any functional purpose.

Should you decide to actually use it, you must contact Toyota and make the case to them that a bed is only functional if it has springs under it. In that case, they will agree with you and give you the upgraded springs free of charge. Assuming of course you did not wait too long and run out of warrantee.

    :D

You may want to take them to a refurb shop if you have any around you. Then put in an add a leaf. OR you can just buy a new beefy pack from someone. You should call wheelers off road, or these guys at http://downsouthmotorsports.com/

Or you can even call Sierra Expeditions to see what they may have for you.

Most likely out yes. There are always a few stragglers that get held over and sold late though.

Plus I think he would just be better off with a different leaf pack more for what he does.

From who? DownSouth? I would call them up and ask them what they have for what you want. Just tell them your stocks are flat, and you aren't wanting to go up in height. Personally, I like the front to back and not the level that everyone else wants.

Mine was a single week outside warranty and they refused it. If you want to improve things in the short term buy some helper springs, they're cheap and do the job fine. I actually have a front and rear set on right now, some underleaf helpers I had from my 01 and some new over leaf helwig-types I bought from advance auto. They actually gave me about an inch rise in the rear and they aren't harsh at all.

If you buy the overleaf helpers you have to lift up the rear anyway, so you could do that and then install the helper springs. Clean and lube them and you should be squeak free, at least for a while.
