    Also might be important to mention to those not familiar with that part of the state that the temps at elevation can be considerably colder than those on the coast at night.

    Hitch and wiring, aux back-up light, rear strobe lights, radio and underseat sub.
    There is only one loop where it will turn into a recovery fest when it's wet. Other times, not so much. At the very least, you should have your own strap, a jack, and spare tire. Shovel, axe, winch, wood blocks, snatch block, etc, are not a bad idea. The main trail is prerunner friendly, until it's wet.

    Pick some smart lines, and you wont have a problem at Shoecreek. I did well with a stock reg cab 4x4 there and URE, even better with a lift.
