I have a 01 2.7L 4cylinder. I get the tank low but have never trusted to go all the way. I am wondering how much farther down on the gauge until the fuel light comes on? I have had it just a tad lower before, but I definently don't want to run out of gas.

^agreed (not because of the pic)

OP, from the pic you posted (just above the e-mark), I'd bet you have at least 3 gallons in the tank. Most vehicles have a reserve built in beyond the gauge level, fuel light or none... in other words, "E" does not really mean "empty," it means "get to a fuel station within the next 30 miles or so."
