For $15 in hardware and a little extra time on the welder, i might as well just upgrade. in the grand scheeme of things, the cost and time is nothing.

Looks like you have some fast rebound(missing shims) and a flutter stack on compression, mic them out and let us know

    It's alot to absorb!
The biggest thing to remember when valving shocks, there is not one "right way" to do it. There are many ways to tune a shock, it all depends on your truck and your driving style. I could put the same valving in the same type of truck, one person might love it and the other hate it

i just want someone to drive my truck moderatly fast through moderate whoops
and tell me "well blake with a DCLB and 50-100lbs in the back and 1 spare your ideal valving for your 16" 2.5 fox smoothies XX/XX"

im really diggin the bedcage. real simple bont in design and super minimal and even noticeable cuts if you were to remove the bedcage.

and those bumps are bolt on?

I would try a 30 on rebound and somewhere between 50-70 on compression, depending if you want a soft plush ride or stiffer for the big hits
Or try a 70 on comp with a flutter stack

i love it. the shocks kinda sit a little far outboard from my frame so rubbing may be an issue.. dunno yet. very little cuts as possible complete bolt on and bumps dont require cutting the bed either

I ran .008's on comp and rebound on my 18" fox smoothies on my old 05 single cab 4banger, pulled a couple shims out of the rebound and fluttered the two biggest diameter shims on comp with lil .010 spacers. It was almost soft enough with a couple spares at the rear. Plus you have air bumps. I like my suspension soft.

yeah shocks are pretty far out away from the frame. hope your running like 2" wheel spacers, even then you may be rubbing .and it looks like the bumpstop is limiting your uptravel a little bit with how low they are mounted. kibb does awesome work but to me it seems the wheel will hit the shock with the slightest articulation of the rear axle, maybe thats why he limited the uptravel though.....
