Last weekend available for American Fork Canyon before they close for winter.

Thinking of hitting up milk maid and major evens this saturday. Need to keep it small, so if too many show up, we'll just split the group and half goes one way and half goes the other, then switch.

If no one else wants to come, I think Z and I are going to go explore some 6+ rated trails.

I'm gonna go buy a winch today and come on the "6" trails haha

I need to get my life together and clearance my shit for 35s...

EDIT** I got a buddy who is pretty much stock and wants to come check out some easy trails... he is 4wd but no armor act... would he have trouble on these "3-4" rated trails?

you dont need a winch those are made for jeeps :D all you need is a lift and good suspension, tow strap is good enough, unless your planning of hitting some trails on your own... witch is not a good idea.

I was kidding about the winch because he mentioned doing "6+ trails with Z"...

and his trail rating system mentioned a winch on 6+ trails...

Well from what I understand, Forest Lake is about a 4-5 on the Greg scale and I did it in my sexy stock truck. So I'm sure your buddy should be fine. :D

Gotcha... he is the guy who was with me when we ran Mineral Basin and he is now terrified of trail damage. He's got a 2012 that is stock, not a legendary 1st gen like you.

I'll probably be out there this weekend Greg and I'm down for whatever...

Correct, Mike. Greg and Z are great help out there on the trails for sure and listening to them is probably in your best interest.

Mike will start crying about his truck before it ever even leaves the asphalt. It's unfortunate.

Haha that's why it better to get an older truck so it won't hurt as much. But anyway who ever goes this weekend post up I might go one last time :) I kinda want to run mineral again but whatever you guys want.

We may have to rethink AF with the snowfall last night. Anyone live closer that can tell how much dropped?

I would think so. There was about an inch on my truck when I went to work today. Now with the extra precipitation today as well, I'm thinking we might want to just hit the graveyard flats and take that up as far as we can instead.
