    Depends on twist rate and bullet speed. A government issue M16 can be sited in at 36 yds and be dead nuts at 100 M (IIRC). But yes, every bullet passes the line of sight twice.

    22 has a very slow twist rate....half of a normal 5.56

    and my .22 is adj obj
    am i wasting my time sighting them in at 30 as thats all my stupid indoor range is good for

    Not a waste for the 22 so much. If anything it will get the windage correct and you'll have to make an adjustment to the elevation.

    I'll have to wait till I get home to look some other things up. Your '06 is a Rem BDL?

    They always say 200 yrd zero. That's the equivalent to Toyota saying your tires should be at 26 psi. You make the zero where you want it based on you abilities, environment you hunt, ammo load and optics.

    Do you actually plan on hunting with the rifle?
