    i thought they just did that here. when snow is in the forcast this is what everyone does:
    1. go to walmart, buy all the milk, bread, and eggs (apparently french toast is the preferred meal for snow days)
    2. call the local school, beg for them to close the school because its sooooo dangerous
    3. once schools are closed, go out driving around, take your kids to the mall (too dangerous for school, totally safe to go shopping)
    4. if you have 2wd, drive anywhere from 5-20mph (30mph if on the interstate); if you have 4wd/awd, drive anywhere from 60-95mph cause you are invincible

    Nothing stops us up here, you just learn to deal with it.

    you forgot to add that its OK to set your cruise control on snowy, icy roads. no need to slow down, just slam on your brakes at the last minute....the car in front of you will stop you if nothing else will :rolleyes:
