Hey so if I wanted to mount those air bumps to my frame, how would I go about doing it?

My res can looks to be slightly in the way. Would I have to get a longer hose and move the res about a foot to the left?

Oh yeah, I guess that hose doesn't move seeing as the shaft of the shock moves, not the shock itself and not the frame. I swear I'm not this mentally handicapped usually. Also, remember that time you told me to buy those because I cut up my mounting bracket for my res cants in the front :) Yeah, still have those bad boys hahaha. I'll see if a local shop can weld that stuff on for me w/o screwing everything up.

So this is what I'm looking at. Fox 2.0 air bumps with 4" travel (14.10" extended, 10.10" collapsed. This can for it:

That would allow me to move the bump up/down depending on how exactly I need it, correct? Is that frame mount ok you think? Would it be weird only having air bumps in the back and not the front or is it worth it to do the fronts as well?

Too late. Nobody believes you. Our story is more compelling.

Knowing what little I know about you and your wheeling style, save your money. I honestly don't see you being able to take advantage of hydro bumps. I've been rocking rubber/poly bumps since I got my truck and there's only been a few situations where I wished I had hydro bumps in the rear. Only reason I'm doing hydro bumps now is of course I'm completely rebuilding the rear and need new bumps anyway.

Eh, party pooper. I'll just wait on the wheeler bumps then. How can you not have them? Doesn't your back end take hard hits that rubber bumps wouldn't be able to handle?

I have bypass tubes. When the compression tube runs out (about 4" from bottom out), there's no where else for the shock oil to escape (bypass). When this happens the compression rate becomes significantly stiffer and in effect becomes an internal "bump" zone. My shocks are some custom abomination from Giant Motorsports so the bump zone is a little taller than most bypass tubes.

See below. Compression tube is on the right:

Ohhhhhhh, that's cool. I never knew that. So when you run a setup like that your bumpstops don't need to be super fancy stuff? Just as long as they prevent your leaf springs from going into negative arch you're OK? Interesting, interesting indeed. So what do you use hydro bumps for then? Besides bitches of course.

I don't care about my leafs. IMO they are consumables. I had some small rubber bumps on the frame too to keep the shock from bottom outs.

Hydro bumps help for BIG hits. Extra valving for the last 4" of suspension travel. For my purposes, they will get used.

Ah, gotcha. I wish I could have a flying truck :( I'm scared to ride in a LT truck because I know I'd end up wanting my truck to be like it and I'd have to sell my soul for that kind of spare cash.

One of two things is happening here
She is either trying to safley transport pool noodles or
That is one badass tube bumper
