Mine were wrapped in that gigantic plastic wrap that they do pallets with, but just enough to hold the two together. That plus some tape, and shipping labels.

Same with mine. Had them delivered shortly after the spindles, then the new wheels and 35" tires. The poor FedEx lady hated me.

I am out. I have to replace the alternator on the truck. Hopefully it will be done this coming week. I am not going on a ride until Dave's truck is ready anyways. I am hoping that's where he is wanting to go! lol

What do you guys know about Demello bumpers? I'm kinda thinking about avoiding relentless, elite, etc to avoid the lead times of one-man shops.

My friend that rear ended the taco last year bought one for his 4R. He's had nothing but great things to say about it. It's a great looking bumper, and was the one I was going to go with before I got rid of my tacoma.

Avoid one man shops at all cost. I don't know anyone who went with one and didn't have horror stories, myself included. Hell, I'd even consider an allpro when they have their big sale. Lets be honest, you aren't going to be beating the tar out of your front bumper anyways. I thought I needed one for the jeep (and I did, now I have tow points) but in all reality, I've only bumped it on things once while actually using it to protect the vehicle.

I'm sure its different due to approach angles, but mine actually keeps me from making it over things that I used to be able to climb right up. Everyone here has witnessed that with the dirt hill at Stony Lonesome.

I think this hits the nail on the head. As long as the thing is stout enough for winching and recovery, and doesn't hurt approach angle, that's really all you need. Now, that said, I think there are a number of folks who have seen significant deflection and warping of the All-Pro bumper under winching.

Yeah, I'm with both of you. I wasn't even going to do a bumper until i busted my stock one up more... The fact that steel is cheaper than painted toyota plastic  is the motivation.

I'm mainly going demello over all pro based off looks, TBH. The demellos are supposedly only 105lbs, I think they look pretty sharp, etc.

trust me from experience. allpro is no better than a one man shop when it comes to a group buy. in fac i had a much better experience from a one man shop(relentless) on a group buy of armor than i did from allpro. their sliders that i got ended up getting delayed around 3 months if i rem. and that is on top of the wait time they listed for it being a gb.

I say all that, and then brute force fab has been the best of everyone at getting back to me... as in he got back to me at all.

I think I'm going to do a brute force plate with fog light holes and no bars, ditch my hellas. $895 to my door I think (well, to the nearest fastenal.)

Anybody have any tips on getting it powdercoated someplace? Or on lights to use in the fog holes? I'm thinking about like piaa 510 driving lights or something.

When I replace my front bumper, it will be with the Demello 3 hoop. My sliders are Demello.
