    Rear brake proportioning valve.
Ditched the factory LSPV and got a Wilwood manual brake proportioning valve. Allows me to adjust rear brake pressure 0 to 57% pressure reduction compared to the front.

    I have thought about it.
Also thought about complete custom axles from RCV. But my wallet disagreed.

You don't need RCV axles. Just the mini stubs. Probably get off the shelf 930' (race cages etc). Doing the measurements for the mini-stubs isn't really complicated at all, hardest part is determining your axle lengths.

turns out my Engage axles are 930 CVs with an adapter to our diff, pretty sweet. nice to get 28 degrees of CV articulation.

CV knowledge is not exactly one of my strong suits.
Do they even make a micro/mini stub that would fit the taco (27 spline)?

Nice, I got the same regulator, cool little setup you can take with you on trips to play with pressures.

Kartek sells a variety of Mini-Stub axles. A few quick measurements of the CV and you could find out.

Anyone know the spline count of the CV half-shaft?

I just looked at Kartek's mini stubs. Those all look like outboard stubs.
The inboard stubs on a tacoma don't have a axle nut. They are held in place with a snap ring like this:

30 spline on the portion the portion that goes into the spindle or the shaft itself?

Because I think the most difficult part about this would be finding the appropriate shaft, as the Outter Tacoma joints have plenty of motion as they're designed similar/same style as a 930

30 splines outboard going into the spindle.
Agreed, the outers are fine, it's the inners that restrict travel.
