The 15k mile service is a joke and chances are they didn't do any of it anyways. The manual just says to inspect a bunch of stuff at 15k miles but the only thing that gets replaced is the oil and filter. I doubt they rotated your tires or re-torqued the prop shaft and I highly doubt they actually inspected any of the stuff they were supposed to. A quick check would be to look at the grease zerks on the drive shaft. My money would be on them being dry and never touched.

Ya good idea I will take a look, it priced out over a Hundred bucks and then was marked down to FREE they did "inspect" aton of items. I tell the Bride all the time to just get the oil change cause they will look at everthing anyways trying to up sell at least that was how the dealer worked that I worked at

The part that kills me is they say "Lube, Oil, and Filter" the lube part was always just spaying the door seals cause everything else was sealed bearings. The they would charge for hazardous waste as well as shop supplies. The supplies were any spray or fluid you needed or didnt need

Check the grease zerks, they never greased mine. I checked mine at 5,000 miles and they were bone dry, didn't even look like they were greased from the factory.

I picked up one of the predators from harbor freight. They have good reviews so far.

I read about those. They were sold out when I was looking for one. The Sportsman is the one sold at Home Depot and the propane is nice because it's quiet and doesn't smell at all.

Makes me popular for guy's night out..driven for a few bachelor parties including my own back in 2005. Last year I had a van with 10 other guys, one of whom was taking the plunge. Went to RI for some dancing :D..left there at 1am and dropped everyone off on the way home, didn't get to my house till 4am.

I bought a Generac XP8000E when I bought the house a couple years back and wired it up. When we had the October storm it was enough to run the entire house for a week when everyone else was in the dark/cold.

Just be careful running some sensitive electronics on a portable generator (even newer furnaces) as the output is not clean enough and can burn out the control boards (trust me, it happened to one of my coworkers with his brand new Lenox furnace). Luckily the XP8000E comes with true power technology so I don't have to worry as much.
