We were talking about this at lunch today. We need bigger better non conference teams. This is a big win for our program!!! :D

Oregon also announced that Georgia State has been added to its 2015 home schedule, and that the Ducks would open the 2018 season at home against Bowling Green in Autzen (BG is about 120 miles from Ohio State).

Bowling Green has played both Florida and Virginia Tech this season, losing 14-27 to the Gators in Gainesville. In 2011 they played at West Virginia, in 2010 at Michigan. In 2009, at Missouri. Urban Meyer coached the Falcons from 2001-02.

    Bowling Green has 17,000 students.

Georgia State, located in Atlanta, has about 40,000 students...second only to Georgia in-state.

Georgia State’s football program is transitioning from the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) to the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS). It has been accepted into the Sun Belt Conference beginning on July 1, 2013 and will be eligible for the league’s football championship beginning with the 2014 season.

Oregon will host Tennessee next season in Eugene on Sept. 14 to conclude the home-and-home agreement that witnessed the Ducks traveling to Knoxville in 2010 (48-13 Oregon win). Michigan State is scheduled to play in Autzen Stadium in 2014, with Oregon returning to East Lansing in 2015 in addition to the home game with Georgia State.

Texas A&M is slated to play at Oregon in 2018 along with Bowling Green, while the Ducks will make their first visit ever to College Station, Texas in 2019.

Bama's young receivers better be ready to be hit hard and compete with one of the most experienced secondary units in the nation

Of course, this is the only matchup that favors MSU, and Bama doesn't throw the ball most of the time. Plus we have trouble stopping the run. I'm excited for the game anyways, hopefully we can force turnovers to keep it close.

I saw it last night on MNF. I thought it was hilarious.

2 things about this video made me laugh
1: The announcer said "great call by Mike Bobo"
2: I saw that it was Washaun Ealey and knew he was gonna fumble

    Why not?.....

Anybody selling any Iron Bowl tickets?

The 9mo old has kept me from going to any games this year, and that's the one I'd really like to see. Thought there might be an auburn fan or two looking to get rid of tickets or something.

    Carry on.

Nah, we have to beat UF, period. If they win they clinch I believe. Even if they don't I think they only have Mizzou left in conference and they ain't losing to them.

It's a lose-lose for us. We some how win the game and Richt is crowned a god and will add as many years as he wishes to his contract. Or we lose to them again and it's another so so year.

I've given up on Auburns season. I'm not even gonna get out of the tree stand to watch our games. The only bowl we have a shot at going to is the toilet bowl.

Dude is making $5m/year to do MNF. I realize that coaches want to coach, but it would be hard for me to trade in the one-night-a-week life for 80-100 hour weeks for the same money.

Unless he just wants a challenge, I think Gruden will stay right where he is.
