Greetings. I was thinking about adding a cold air intake syatem and a throttle spacer to my 4.0 v6 2006 Tacoma. Should there be any problems adding these concerning fuel/air mixture issues? Thanks for yor time.

    Welcome to TW.
I would recomend the URD CAI
I wouldn't recommend the TBI spacer, they rob low end torque.

So I take that as a "no" on the throttle spacer, and a big "no" on making a pass at the pug...no matter how much beer one can drink?

yeah....pretty much. u dont hear the whistle as bad on a manual, but its constant on an auto. its definately a wastte of time. if u really want another intake, go AFE or volant. they both have them that will replace the entire stock piping and box and show the bext gains. the volant also has the ram air attachment that goes over the radiator to draw as well as the fender

    Too few to list.
I don't know about the 15 hp but I too have the TRD and the throttle feels so much better than stock. I'd stay away from the URD if you get a lot of moisture where you live.

^It isn't ear shattering but it's noticeable. To me, it isn't so much about the whistle but more about the fact that they're a virtually worthless mod. Even if you pick up 2-3hp, which I doubt, you sure won't feel it.

well, I know that its a "snake oil mod" but I mean, how hard are they to install on older suvs and stuff. I may have a buddy who would be interested in this

That was the Max. gain. I cant remember the RPM, but it was about 200 higher than the stock peak. The curve started about 2 hp more at 1500 rpm, and grew as the revs increased. I think the Torque gain was around 14 or so lb-ft at peak.
