Scored a used 32" LED light bar from a TW member. Unlabeled, but verry similar to the Morimoto brand. Cant wait to mount it up! Stuck it up on top of the Baja rack just to see how it looks. I dig it, but im exploring other options due to the dreaded "windshield glare" ive heard so much about. Plus my RTT fits dead on with my rack, and with this bar up there I'd have to move it back about 5 in.

anybody with experience in mounting these bars in other locations (ie: lower valance, in front of grill, behind grill..) please chime in!

Do you like the Antenna X? I have the shorty one from Stubby Antenna, and it looks great, but doesnt do that good of a job to maintain the HD Radio signal. So I want to upgrade, but not go back to the stock antenna.

I actually have not had a chance to test it since I just put it on today and have not drove it yet. I cannot remember where but at one point I read from at least one manufacture of aftermarket antennas that ~13" was as low as they could go while retaining stock signal strength. I thought it was Antenna X but I am not for sure.
These two threads helped me decide with getting the Antenna X and also noted to me that they can get damaged in car washes so if you get one take it off before a car wash. I'll try to let you know about overall reception or notice of loss.

Just took off my swaybar this last weekend. I really like the ride with it off and the added articulation. Will have to get a new tail light since i broke a clip on one side while out on the trail. Saving money up for the Toytec Bilstein lift.

    repainted rims.
painted tweeter rings and speedometer rings flat white.
shortened the stock antenna about 12" put the little black ball back on the tip of it and spray it with plasti-dip for shits and giggles.

Picked up my wheels from the powder coat shop, and my TPMS sensors from a fellow member, (he's got a tread with stuff for sale http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/buy-sell-trade/245068-socal-tpms-sensors-24-lugnuts-tow-hook.html) very cool dude.

THEN, took all this stuff to a tire shop, bought 4 new BFG ATs in 285/70/17 and had them mount, balance, and install.

    Couldn't be happier!!!

Now I've gotta sell my silver FJ se wheels, with tires!

    THoughts?

forgot to mention, just dropped off my headlights at MySilverTaco13's house, cool guy. Young and ambitious! Can't wait to see my BHLM and retrofitted FXRs all together... FINALLY! only bought them last year, haha... the wheels too... but I've been outta the country all year, and lazy for the rest of it, haha

Maybe it's just me but why the hell do they put on those chrome bumpers??? Color matched should be the standard and if you want the chrome they put it on for you and give you $100 for sportin it!!!!

Truck looks great but my .02 cents says color match rear bumper:cool: edit: and grill !!
