The European model came in, which confirms our worst fears we've had since this past Sunday. That model, which has been stubbornly consistent, now has support from all other models that ran today. EPAWA is now 100% ALL IN on a direct hit somewhere between Delmarva Peninsula and Long Island, NY. This will be a strong hurricane that will phase with an upper ... level low and trough and form a hybrid extra-tropical storm, capable of but not limited to:

*high winds sustained 40-60mph with higher gusts possible at the height inland, 60-80mph+ along the coastal areas... contributing to property, tree, and power line damage.
*flooding rainfall on the order of 6-12" in a 24-36 hour period.
*coastal flooding and storm surge for a landfalling tropical system combined with a full moon, which enhances the wave action even further.
*widespread power outages that can last for days if not weeks.
*massive beach erosion and damage, along with destruction to poorly constructed homes and businesses along shore points.
*similar effects as Hurricane Irene last year for inland residents, if not worse, including all of eastern PA New Jersey.

That was a bad joke... I shop at Lowes :D

I could care less if I lose electric for a week or two. My fridge is empty and my coolers will be full.

If it's anything like last year the scum bags in the city will fill their fridges with food from food stamp money then FEMA will cut them checks 2 weeks later when it spoils cause they lost electricity...

My old work was literally up the same street from the handout office and there were thousands applying for aid. All the people in the area were yelling "aw shit they handin out free money".

I feel like I'm obligated to say Home Depot because of a certain member :spy: even though I usually shop at Lowes.
