That's a number I've heard a few times... Can't get Google to confirm, though. I saw $4.3M just now from some source I wouldn't call 100% reliable.

The point is, he's making BANK to do MNF, and while I realize I exaggerated it as a one-night-a-week gig, it's nowhere near as hard/long as coaching college (or pro) football.

In Tampa we will always be grateful about SB XXXVII. With that said, the guy is a tool that HARDLY anyone likes. Trust me, he will not be a good college coach. He is NOT into teaching, see what he did in Oakland and Tampa. Filled the roasters with aging stars, people who needed "little coaching". He is also IN LOVE with his offensive playbook. EVERYONE in Tampa realized that instead of adpating the player to his strenghts, he wanted to adapt the players to his playbook. Bad idea.
He gets 5 mil, because he was fired by the Bucs, so his salary until this season was split between ABC and the Bucs. This is the first year of him not getting $$$ from the Bucs.

Another thing, 100 hours a week is nothing to this nut case. He has some crazy ass condition, that only lets him sleep 2-3 hours a night, per night; and suposedly he wakes up fresh as a cucumber.

I've heard this before, and I'm really jealous. I'd LOVE to only need a few hours of sleep each night. I could get so much done.

Still, he has the condition whether he's working 100 hours/week or not, so if he can make comparable money in a TV gig, why do all the work?

I'm just not wired for 100hr weeks. I worked 80 hour weeks for a while in public accounting and hated everything by the end of my time there.

He has aged A LOT since he left Oakland. A LOT. He may be able to function on little sleep, but your body still needs rest.

Funny, I worked for a regional CPA firm in Clearwater for all of three months. Worst job I ever had, the hours vs income was just not there, and they paid well. Still, LOVE my govt auditor job. Decent pay with AWESOME hours, and now moving to Denver. I LOVE my job!

Cool! I was a PwC for 2 years. I made Sr. Associate and jumped ship to industry. I've worked a few 50hr weeks in the 5 years I've been here, but I can probably count them on 1 hand, and I almost never travel.

Dude, relax. Classless was that shit you'll pulled celebrating like mad after the first TD, in 2007. Tasteless? Maybe, but what makes you think that it was paid by the UF's athletic dept or coaching staff?

Worst, the UGA paper CHOSE to take the money and print the ad. Whose fault is that?

Personally, the closer the game gets, the more of a chance I think we have against them. I'm hoping for the best here. I'm okay with coming out of Tuscaloosa 7-1, because we still have a shot to get to Atlanta.
