I love how they showed Verlander mouthing the word "Wow" after Pablo's second jack off of him, I'll bet Verlander has never had anyone get a extra base hit off that pitch, much less a 421 foot home run! I was telling my dad how Pablo strikes out a lot but every once in awhile he runs into one and drives the shit out of it, right then he hits the first jack. I saw Pablo go down and get one off his shoe laces and literally 9-ironed the ball out into the right field gallery, insane!

Really pains me to see the Giants in the World Series considering they were on the brink of elimination in the NLDS for crying out loud! Haha

Best of luck to you folks -- looks like your team is firing on all cylinders. Pablo Sandoval is probably still trying to catch his breath from running the bases three times.

Just curious (as I haven't watched much Giants baseball as of late) -- how long has Tim Lincecum been used in relief? I'm assuming only in postseason purposes but is this a first-time thing? He looked good last night.

Yeah Pablo's being called "The runaway Beer Truck", he's a trip. Timmy just couldn't get it together so Boch put him in the bull pen IDK a month ago? It's not his first relief appearance, think he did a four inning stretch during the NLCS, kind of a far out option to bring a 2-time Cy Young guy in to pitch middle relief. I was a little surprised to see him in there last night though, we were kicking the crap out of the Tigers and I thought it would be a better idea to save him for tonight in case Maddy starts giving up hits, but I guess Boch has a lot of confidence in the rest of the 'pen to help Maddy out.

I had a good feeling that it's the best scenario for the Giant's to have no rest between the NLCS and the WS, just one day off and treat it like just another series, I was laughing all night when they kept showing the looks on the Tiger's faces like "WTF just happened??", well y'all just ran into a buzzsaw of a hot team. Little nervous for Maddy tonight though, guess he fixed something in his mechanics, I sure hope so, now is not the time to work stuff out.
