    Go to the site, andn take a pic of your dept ID tag ( I also gave my union card, although you don't need to be in a union, I just did it to back up my first ID) Then you choose a team to join. There's police, fire, marine, army ......a whole bunch of teams. about 48 hours later they either accept or deny you and you can start shopping if they accept you.

    Other brands that offer deals to us;

    Oakley ( usstandardissue.com)
    Gerber- deals aren't really that good
    Glock- I think we get 10% off

    It's not something for nothing. You still have to pay. They just give discounts. I can see if we walk into a coffee shop or something, I never take ( or have been offered) something for free.

    Actually, after looking closer, they have non military and emergency service teals as well....They have a retail professional team and a few others...it seems to be more team based than specific career based. I was wrong in my first posting....

    I personally have never been. You can believe it or not. And even if I was I wouldn't take it. Neither would anyone on my crew.

    For USstandardissue I had to show a FD ID card. For promotive I showed the same thing...is there something else that the military has to prove your service?? I'm asking because I don't know.

    Now that you mention that usstandardissue takes that. I'm sure if you went to the promotive website and applied to one of the military teams they would tell you what you need....
