hahaha thats pretty true. mont be on much tomorrow. got to help dad to a bunch of stuff. clean gutters more, only got one side or part done tonight. and help clean out the garage. also take a bunch of trash off.

 

yeah, me too dude. but think practically, theres no need for a college student to have a V8 unless they tow a lot. which they probably don't...

 

Haha very good point. I just can't get a good sound out of my truck. Had TRD, way to quiet. Bought a borla XR-1 "race muffler" I don't know if I scred it up from welding so many times to it or what but its even more quiet than the TRD at the moment. When I get back home I'm making a bolt in muffler and bolt in "straight pipe" (muffler delete). Not sure what else to try. But the most I've ever towed was a trailer and 2 4wheelers, seemed to have a pretty hard time.....of course I had it in 5 instead of 4th gear. And I hardly ever tow that, just a mower on a regular basis.

dude, i tow stuff all the time with my little 3.4 and it does fine. and about the sound...how loud do you want it? because honestly loud is just obnoxious, especially at school here.

 

Work summers and weekends, and don't have a girlfriend haha

yeah I don't want it that loud, just being able to hear it while driving and when I have music on. I don't even play music loud and I couldn't hear either of those mufflers unless it was off. And I agree loud is obnoxious. A muffler delete actually isn't loud around town unless you step on it. On highway, the drone is unbearable. That's why it's gonna be bolt on. Might try flowmaster? Or glass packs?

 

i mean...i think just for pure loudness, the glasspack makes it loud. but you're not gonna get where you can hear it over music, but not drony on the highway.

Id get a flowmaster stage II. Thats what I have on my 02 and its really nice. Not to loud but loud enough. I can hear my exhaust over my radio, provided my subs arent jacked up all the way lol. Ive got two Fosgate P1's

 

No but I have seen it driving around a few times.

 

And Weston get a 40 or even a 10 flow master

For a prerunner? No. You could probably haggle a new one for that.

 

Aaron wants a 1st gen. and i’d bet 4wd. why would anyone get a 2wd truck anyways? as hell why they even make the “pre runner” if it’s not the X runner it should be 4x4.
