I was thinking arb for the longest time but I keep looking at the all pro bumper. Anyone else have this dilemma before?

I also need to get rid of my chrome rails soon. Every time I look at them I think about how much better the black nfabs are going to look.

Year end bonus can't come soon enough.

Which allpro are you looking at? The new one piece or the old 3 piece? And i would get sliders instead of steps IMHO

And  for the ARB vs Allpro debate

ARB imo would be better. I have never heard anything bad about a Arb bumper. All pro, I have. I have a shrockworks. If I had to do it over again I would most likely go with relentless

Oh, I would get sliders instead of steps IMO if you are going with an offroad bumper

Too much to list, but enough to get me in trouble. Repeatedly.
    ARB. Period. End of story.
I have one. Love it. Well built. Simple installation. Common product = lots of aftermarket support.
My only gripe is that it doesn't have provisions for shackles.
One thing you may want to consider: The ARB is currently the only one that is airbag certified. While that may not mean much to you, consider this: If you were to hit someone with some other non-certified bumper, it is entirely possible that insurance companies would have a field day with you. Yours might not pay out a single dime, theirs might sue you, and the person you hit might be able to sue you as well. Not saying it will happen, or is even necessarily likely. But it is something to consider, since insurance companies will usually take any excuse they can get to not pay. This was a big factor in my decision to go with ARB (that, and I couldn't pass up a deal to get a brand-new one for $500).

I concur, minus the part about the awesome deal (didnt get one of those heh) The ARB may not be as sexy looking as the relentless or all pro, but it is airbag certified. I live on Oahu so my bumper choice was influenced by shipping as well. Freight for anything besides an ARB would have been half the price of the bumper. I never thought the ARB looked that great stylistically but once I saw it in person it looked a lot better. Plus it comes stock with full headlight protection. Granted I haven't used it to mow down hoards of zombies....yet but so far I love my ARB

I don't think it's as clear as better vs worse. I think the ARB offers better all around front end protection. Many reasons why I say that. Part of the price for that protection is a slight loss of clearance. I think the ARB is a better generalist bumper, but the Apex offers better clearance and plenty of protection for trail use. It also has recovery points, where you would have to add those to the ARB.

For my use the ARB is the choice. I don't think anything tops it for things like animal collisions. If I were building a more dedicated trail rig I would opt for a higher clearance design such as the Apex.

check the group buy thread for a TJM bumper, on sale right now for 500.00, looks just like an ARB execpt the center hoop is different and it is airbag certified

I put one on my truck 3wks ago and love the looks & profile of it

the other pros for the ARB which I forgot to mention are things like the rubber bumper things on the front, in case you bump something, has a little give, or the ability to precisely aim the fog lights (maybe you can do this on others but I haven't seen it)

This a smoking deal on a great bumper! I assume this price is raw steel right? Is the aluminum version an option under this buy?

I have the new version ARB bumper. It's great and I love the fogs. That said, I REALLY like the new AllPro APEX front bumper. I like their sliders too.

With the TJM, fog lights are included in purchase price, not an extra like ARB and are adjustable.

AS for the little bubber rumper things, you shouldn't be bumping things anyway.

Look at the similarities between TJM and ARB, both designed in Australia to the strict laws of their DOT or what ever the "queensland" calls it,

    both are airbag compliant
both do not have recovery points
both have about the same approach angle
TJM includes fog lights, ARB exrta charge but includes turn signals
    both are winch ready
the only difference between the two is the center hoop and the bubber rumpers
    price point
    TJM 500.00 fogs included
    ARB 1100.00 fogs extra
