Its all in your outlook and planning. I know a friend who just retired a few years ago from the SeaBees and he wanted to stay in so badly! I think he had 30 some years in though. I know one thing though, the SeaBees are probably the best job in the Navy, AND the most tight knit bunch.

I have the unfortunate job of pissing off the public at times. Guess you can't please everyone all the time. If you're in Arizona, you may want to steer clear of the Queen Creek area..lol:ballchain:

Yea, it can be fun... I've had a kid in class the killed his 23 month old baby because she had an "accident" on the floor. A kid from a few years ago beat a bum to death. But there are a few funny stories too... I have a kid in class this year that shot himself in the foot trying to stick his gun in his belt... A kid I had in summer school shot himself in the face playing Russian roulette with a gun he didn't think was loaded... didn't kill him though...

    Darwin Award winners...

But overall, most of the crap is on the streets. I can honestly say I have never felt scared at school, and when they are here, it's not that bad...

They live a rough life, and I couldn't imagine growing up with the shit they need to deal with on a daily basis... I have kids admit to selling drugs so they can buy food for their families... what am I supposed to say to that... "Drugs are bad, you should stop... you really don't need food"

    wow... end rant...
