    Gonna go out to the island today and set a post for some fence repair and run some errands out there as well. Had a computer place rescue 140 gig of music from a dying hard drive and load it onto an external drive, gonna pick that up on the way home and pack my Zune with music, then maybe a cold night ride on the bike tonight

    the island (as the locals call it), is Alameda which is next to Oakland in the bay. There is an old SP right of way that runs 25 miles from Martinez to Dublin that has been converted into a paved riding trail, I start my ride about the halfway point and ride south to Dublin and back, it's got around 500 feet of elevation change and my normal ride starts around 7 pm and i get back around 10pm. I do a series of sprints and cruising for cardio and at night I usually see a lot of critters like deer, fox, skunk, raccoon, coyote, owl, it's fun when you have lights as bright as the taco's low-beams, i just fire up the Zune and haul ass.
