What brings you back? I'm at Ft Gordon now and head to Alaska in January. I was hoping for Ft Carson

I left full coverage for the reason in case it would get stolen I'd be paid the amount it's worth. Then I did get stolen :'(

Portland doesn't snow my friend. It's just like Seattle always wet. However bend 80 miles west of Portland. Has some kick arse trails complete with caves lakes rivers and thick forest. I almost miss it there almost.

mt hood, timberline, bachelor, and the WA resorts not too far either that get hammered...that's what i was referring to

yeah ill be buying a ski pass to some resort on mt hood. I hear its pretty bad ass. might try to make it up to whistler while im there, not sure how far of a drive it is.

edit: holy crap i forget how big states are out west....its a 7 hour drive

 

I have lived in Vancouver wa, Portland or, the dalles or, tricitys wa , Spokane wa , and Tacoma wa. Let me tell ya the boarding great the drive to the 7-eleven is fantastic. Your surrounded by 100 foot pines everywhere you go. Nothing like Colorado. However. You won't have the Rockies.

 

ill be living in portland, working in vancouver, wa. what ski resort would you recommend? ive been looking at mt hood, but not sure which of the three to get

 

Mt. Hood is a fantastic mountain to ski or board. The resort on the north face ( can't remember the name off hand ) see the best powder. You'll find yourself buying two out of three passes. Just to Change it up throughout the season. Unlike Colorado , your options of mountains are limited.



Now mt. rainner is worth the drive also. That's a huge mountain !
