    I've been attempting the same thing. Little harder to make it come out crisp with the colors of it but it can be done.

    Did anyone buy the led courtesy lights? Mine are on the way!!! So do you need to run wire from the dome light for these to work??

    I think you tie them into the lights that come on when you open the door so....yes!

    Ok so the lights came in Monday an I started working on installing them what a pain. No real room to put them in your door panel an running wires sucks. Then finding a power source. But I have it all figured out should be done by the end of the week i will take pics

    Ya so I ran the power wire under the hood an added a buss fuze to the dome fuze. Then I put the grounds to each individual wire on the door switch so when you open the door it turns on an off as soon as you close it. It isn't affected at all if the dome light is on or off
