What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Just installed a Toyota block heater. Took about 15 minutes.

 

You'll be very happy this winter. Put it on a timer so it's nice and warm in the AM for starts and heat. Makes going to work more pleasant.

 

Or you could use something like this to control it by ambient temperature.

Thanks ! I didn't even know that existed. I live in NJ so I only need it on from like 2AM to 5 or 6AM. I'm too cheap to run it for 12 hours - from when I get home til when I leave again.

 

Killed an Altima driver and took his wheels. Put winter tires on.

 

Until one day you are running late and drive away without unplugging it. More likely to happen if the coffee hasn't kicked in.

 

That's why I prefer a heated garage.

Used duplicolor graphite, not really sold on the colour don't like the gloss but it looks ok. I'm kind of tempted to paint them white







They also need a balance so I might get them mounted black walls out

LOL. I haven't done it yet but people at work do it all the time. Diesels have 2 B plugged in 6 months of the year. Lot of opportunity to F up.

 

I got a 2 car garage and can't get 1 car in it. Filled with tools, equipment , supplies etc. I need those people U C on TV that come in and organize everything.

 

Then get a bigger garage.

Sold my 2000 Frontier today using CL. Got what I wanted for it and went right down and bought a Snugtop Rebel topper very well equiped. Not cheap! You get what you pay for though. I'll post pics of the Taco in 3-4 weeks after installation

Changed front and rear differential fluids. Installed my beefed cb drop bracket that came in today.Take off shudder gone , but still have a 20 mph vibe.

 

A man can never have enough garage/shop space.

I'm building a 24x26 attached garage on our new home...and a 26x36 detached garage/shop on the property...

It would be OK with me if the budget and lot size allowed for larger garages.
